September 2026 update
September has been a major development month for Own the Dial. Private testing continues, and the focus has shifted toward helping users understand the information they already record.
Weight logging now supports precise 0.1-unit entry alongside previous official weight, starting weight, goals and maintenance context. A single weigh-in remains one data point in a larger pattern.
Training sits alongside nutrition and weight. Its user-selected states are BUILD · HOLD · RECOVER · RECALIBRATE. Planned versus completed work, exercise history, effort and recovery context can be reviewed without chasing a personal record each time.
Not wanting food and physically feeling full are different experiences. Own the Dial records them separately, with optional context for each.
Current Dial State, Signals, Data Confidence and “Why am I seeing this?” make recorded information easier to interpret. The software organizes the evidence. You control the Dial.
These are factual observations from records, such as Fullness at 4/5, Energy lower on recent recorded days, the age of current settings, a missing bowel-movement record or a changed seven-day weight average. They are not diagnoses, medical warnings or treatment instructions.
Recent official weigh-ins, confirmed nutrition days and time at current settings help describe how much information exists. Data Confidence is not a health score and does not decide whether to change anything.
Daily and appointment summaries can bring together nutrition, weight, training, appetite, energy and optional digestive or medication records and notes. The user decides what gets copied, downloaded or shared.
Development is shifting toward clarity, reliability, mobile usability, privacy, accessibility, first-use experience and real-world testing. There is no public launch date to announce.
Own the Dial is a general-wellness tracking and educational tool. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent disease or replace professional medical care.
